Explore the Bold New Directions Charted in Convention

Under the banner Liberated by God’s Grace, delegates at the 15th Biennial National Convention of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC) charted bold new directions for a church that is committed to being In Mission for Others.

“We can’t save the world. We can’t save the church. That’s been taken care of. Instead we are called into the work that has been done and completed in Christ but which seems incomplete to us now,” preached Evangelical Lutheran Church in America Presiding Bishop Elizabeth Eaton at the opening service.
