An Estimated 1.4 million Canadian Seniors Report That They Feel Lonely

We live in a world with more people and more ability to connect with one another than ever before. Yet, again and again, we hear about lonely people.

“Just over one year ago, the United Kingdom (UK) made headlines by appointing a Minister of Loneliness. Government research in the UK indicated that about 200,000 older people in the country had not had a conversation with a friend or relative in more than a month.”
