Saskatchewan Synod

From Sept. 13–15, 2024, 70 youth (plus leaders) from around Saskatchewan gathered for the second biannual retreat at Camp Kinasao on Christopher Lake. The retreat is a joint effort by Camp Kinasao and the Saskatchewan Bishop’s Youth and Young Adult Ministry Team, to build a stronger faith community among the province’s youth. Picked up by a bus in Regina, Saskatoon and then Prince Albert, youth journeyed together to the camp, and then participated in a weekend of laughter, prayer, worship and raucous outdoor activities. The theme of the weekend, Connecting for Christ, led the youth to explore ideas around how they could bring God’s love back to their own lives, at school, home and in their community. —Anno Bell
