It was good to see the front page coverage of the important ministry of serving the homeless.
Perhaps to the cities covered you might add in Montreal. Once a month, on Saturday evening (strategically chosen because others are going out partying while the homeless languish in doorways) a team from St. John’s downtown prepares sandwiches and hot coffee (cold drinks in summer), adds helpful items to their packs like underwear, panties, socks, gloves, blankets, winter coats (in season), and even occasionally dog biscuits.
