Re: Sola Gratia (Grace Alone) Q & A, June p.15.
Dr. Harder acknowledges the historical emphasis of God’s grace for eternal salvation but then he seems to minimize our future salvation by pointing to Jesus’ present grace in healing.
Jesus chided those who were concerned only with the present rather than the future. What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?” (Matthew 16:26).
Since so many have embraced the eastern philosophy involving karma and reincarnation, (thus eliminating the need for a Saviour), we need to refocus on the future aspect of salvation rather than just the present need for grace.
