Re: 400 years of Lutheran worship in Canada, Dec 2019, p. 10.
I was at the Royal Library in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1968. I received a copy of the logbook of the journey and translated it for my final thesis in 1970 at Lutheran Theological Seminary Saskatoon. In the manuscript, Munk was spelled Munck. It was written with gothic letters and there were some Latin words, as learned people at times used Latin.
The important thing for us is that the road we travel whether by sea, land or air inspire others to journey on for the benefit of others, following in the footsteps of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Happy Travels!
