In 2021 plans were proceeding for a second joint Assembly between the Anglican Church of Canada (ACC) and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC) to be held in Calgary, July 2022. However, the world was struggling to find its way through the COVID-19 pandemic.
